Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on way to Canada, reached London today.

Bangladesh Biman flight BG 15, carrying the prime minister and members of her entourage, landed at Heathrow International Airport at 3.50 pm local time.

Bangladesh acting high commissioner in London Khandakar Mohammad Talha received her at the airport.

Sheikh Hasina left Dhaka this morning for two-nation tour in North America.

After a 22-hour stopover in London, she will leave for Montreal, Canada by an Air Canada flight.

In Canada, the prime minister will attend the Fifth Replenishment Conference of the Global Fund (GF) on September 15 and 16.

From Canada, Sheikh Hasina will go to New York on September 18 to attend 71st session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) and other programmes.
