Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has stopped over for 22 hours in London on way to Canada’s Montreal.
She will be attending the Fifth Replenishment Conference of the Global Fund in Montreal and then the United Nations General Assembly’s 71st Session in New York during her 12-day tour.
“I wish to fulfil all my responsibilities in the best possible way,” Hasina had said before embarking on the tour.
She sought everybody’s blessings for the success of her 12-day tour.
Bangladesh High Commission in London said in a press statement the Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying the prime minister and her entourage arrived at Heathrow International Airport around 4pm local time on Wednesday.
Bangladesh High Commissioner Khandker M Talha received her at the airport.
On Thursday afternoon, Hasina will take an Air Canada flight to Montreal.Other
